It All Started with Tyler.

Every person deserves to be recognized as more than their hardest moments.

Tyler's life was full of personality, creativity, connection, and love. His story also included loss and addiction, but those struggles were never the sum of who he was. This belief became part of the foundation's beginning: that every person deserves to be seen for their whole humanity, not simply by their hardest moments.

This is where Aligned Impact Foundation began.

MEET TYLER

22
years old when he passed

Family
A beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin & friend

Creative
Fashion. Music. Cooking. Basketball.

Authentic
Effortlessly himself.

Curious
Always exploring new possibilities.

Connected
Someone who valued genuine human connection.

Tyler was never just one thing.

He was funny.
Curious.
Creative.
Loving.
Genuine.

Tyler was always open to exploring new possibilities.

He might experiment in the kitchen.
Put together an unexpected outfit.
Or come up with something completely unconventional like putting chocolate chips on pizza.

He had a natural curiosity that made him willing to try things others might never think of.

That curiosity was part of who Tyler was and in many ways, it changed the way we see the world.

Tyler taught us to look beyond assumptions. To see the person behind the struggle. The possibilities beyond the circumstances. And the connections that remain, even when life becomes difficult.

His life changed the way we understand addiction, mental health, connection, and the importance of seeing people in their full humanity.

We also began to understand how deeply our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being are connected to our sense of purpose, our relationships, and the way we move through the world.

That shift in perspective became Aligned Impact Foundation.

We believe that when people become more connected to themselves, their values, their purpose, and their authentic selves, they are better equipped to connect with the people around them.

And when that happens, the potential for meaningful impact grows.

His Story Wasn't Simple

Behind Tyler's story was both profound loss and profound love.

At 17, Tyler lost his mother. With the support of his father, brothers, and grandparents, he continued navigating a life that held both joy and hardship.

Eventually, Tyler struggled with substance use and addiction.

But his addiction was part of his story, not the definition of who he was.

Like so many people impacted by addiction, Tyler's life reminds us that there is always more to a person than the circumstances they are facing.

Their history.
Their relationships.
Their potential.
Their humanity.

We believe all of it matters.

And sometimes, when we lose connection with ourselves, our purpose, or the people around us, it can become harder to find our way back.

We believe that restoring connection within ourselves and with one another, is an important part of creating healthier lives and healthier communities.

What Tyler Changed in Us

Humanity comes first.

Every person is more than a diagnosis, a circumstance, a mistake, or their hardest moment.

Connection matters.

Our relationship with ourselves influences how we experience the people and world around us.

Alignment is not perfection.

Being aligned means continuing to reconnect with our values, purpose, well-being, and authentic selves, even when life takes us off course.

Understanding changes how we see one another.

When we approach people with curiosity rather than judgment, we create space for empathy, connection, and meaningful change.

Meaningful change creates impact.

When individuals, families, and communities become more connected and aligned, the potential for positive change extends far beyond one person.

Curiosity as a Legacy

Think Differently.

Tyler had a curious way of looking at the world.

He experimented. He explored. He created.

Sometimes that meant finding the perfect combination in the kitchen. Sometimes it meant expressing himself through fashion or music.

And sometimes it meant putting chocolate chips on pizza.

It may have been unconventional.

But that's what made it Tyler.

That willingness to see possibilities where others might not became something we wanted to carry into the foundation itself.

We believe meaningful change often begins when someone is willing to ask a different question, challenge an assumption, or look at a familiar problem from a new perspective.

Tyler reminded us that thinking differently doesn't mean losing sight of who you are. Sometimes, it is how you discover more of what is possible.

7 Lives.

His Impact Didn't End With His Life.

Seven people received the gift of life through Tyler's organ donation.

His ability to help others did not end when his life did.

It became part of his legacy.

That legacy became part of the reason Aligned Impact Foundation exists.

Tyler's ability to give to others did not end with his life. Through organ donation, seven people were given the opportunity to continue their own journeys.

His impact continued beyond what any of us could have imagined.

And that became part of what we wanted to build: a foundation centered on the belief that meaningful impact does not stop with one person. It moves outward, from individuals to families, from families to communities, and from communities to the world around them.

ONE PERSON

ONE CONNECTION

ONE COMMUNITY

A RIPPLE OF IMPACT

Carrying Tyler's Legacy Forward

Creating a Ripple, Together

Tyler's life touched his family, his friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.

His legacy reached seven people through organ donation.

And his story ultimately became part of the reason Aligned Impact Foundation exists.

Through education, mental health initiatives, community engagement, advocacy, scholarships, and future programs, we seek to create opportunities for individuals, families, and communities to grow, heal, connect, and create positive change.

We believe change doesn't always begin with something big.

Sometimes it begins with one person feeling seen.

One person finding connection.

One person discovering purpose.

One person choosing to see someone else differently.

One person being curious enough to see a situation differently, even if it means putting chocolate chips on a pizza.

And sometimes, one life is enough to start a ripple that reaches farther than we could ever imagine.

Align Within. Connect Deeply. Create Impact.
